This email will go to Federal Representatives in North Sydney and Warringah to object to the use of Federal Funds to support the building of the tunnels. It details the basis of objection and the main areas of concern for impacted communities based on thorough research .
It is best if you personalise the email slightly to explain how you are going to be personally impacted so our leaders know this is a genuine objection and not autogenerated, otherwise you can use as is! It only takes a few minutes and is a very important way in which you can make a difference!
Why a paper petition? The tunnels are State Government Projects and the NSW State Parliament requires hand-written petitions in this format, they do not accept online petitions. The content has been agreed to with Community Groups across the Lower North Shore and from Balgowlah to Balmain for maximum impact but it is general enough to apply to all areas impacted. Once 10000 signatures are reached we will be submitting to the NSW Legislative Assembly but we need your help to get there! You can print (below), sign & collect as many petition signatures as you like from friends, family, sporting and community groups, schools and pre-schools. Important please note: do not change or draw on the petition as you will invalidate it. Also ensure full Australian home addresses (no PO Boxes or overseas addresses), ensure people only sign once, that they don't use ditto symbols and once complete please return to the address on the bottom of the petition form.

While the formal consultation period has closed RMS is still accepting feedback by email so it will also be copied to the RMS.
